A Water-Logged Sea-Going Farce.
- Frank Harris Horn
- 9/17/10
This is one of the shortest flicks Stan Laurel and Oliver Hardy ever made in their career. This one runs just under an hour; a short and sweet comedy. Ollie suffers a nervous breakdown from working in a horn factory, which would drive anybody crackers, and both he and Stan try relaxing on a small boat...and turns out to be impossible, when a bank robber suddenly appears and forces them to set sail to escape capture. Ollie will wish he had gone to a sanitarium instead. Harry Langdon was one of the writers. With Richard Cramer, Harry Hayden, James Finlayson, Ben Turpin, Harry Bernard & Bob McKenzie. A short review for a short movie, which plays out like an early TV show.

Better than average Stan Laurel and Oliver Hardy film, some very funny scenes. They are always worth watching. Even their films that are not so good are worth seeing.
