Hugh Sinclair succeeds as an action figure
- Dean
- 12/15/12
I like Hugh Sinclair as the Saint. He is excellent as an action hero, better than his predecessor, although he lacks the obvious polish of George Sanders. The plot holds your interest, although the music box gag was stolen in part from Sherlock Holmes. The supporting cast is woeful once again, led by Sally Gray and Arthur MaCrae, with the notable exception of Cecil Parker as Rudolph, the villain in this picture. Parker is outstanding and saves the show. Overall, a nice action flick. MY real rating is 2.5 stars, but a malfunction online gave it 5, forcing me to try to balance it out with a 2nd review. Oops. Mea culpa.
