Although this was announced as the first in a series, it was the only film made in the Bobby Clark series. The twelve-year-old Clark was known as the world's champion junior cowboy. It was filmed on location at Prescott, AZ. Although the Variety review credits Archie Gomez with the role of Bart, the actor's name was Augie Gomez.
