Not one single scene in the entire film I don't like, skip over or would cut and I cannot say thatabout any other film, all the greats included. Absolutely perfect beginning to end and in the middleand the music score is magnificent as well.

  • LOVELY FILM!

Sit back, have a cup of tea, relax and enjoy. You have early performances of Helena Bonham Carter, Daniel Day Lewis and Julian Sands. You also have the amazing Judi Dench and prolific Maggie Smith. The film is VERY beautiful. The acting is exquisite. Watching this film is truly an experience.

  • Room With a View deserves a primetime hour slot

As a movie fan, I have watched thousands of films. Yet I am always hoping for the rare find, a film which not only thoroughly delights and uplifts, but also in which the elements of acting, cinematography, words and music combine for a totally satisfying artistic experience. These are the movies that never leave one's memory, films you want to see again and again and by which all others are judged for the pleasure a 'pure' film delivers without vulgarity or profanity. A ROOM WITH A VIEW is one such masterpiece. Now I am hoping that TCM will soon feature ENCHANTED APRIL, guaranteed likewise to thrill other viewers who share my aesthetics. Thank you TCM!
