Tedd Lawrence's narration, which is heard intermittently throughout the film, brings the film to a close with the words, "It could only happen in Brooklyn!" According to a June 1954 Hollywood Reporter news item, Bobby Marriot, who played "Roogie," was eleven years old at the time of production. Shots of Brooklyn are seen during the film, and according to the same news item, portions of the film were shot at Ebbets Field in Brooklyn, NY.
