Yes, I was immediately drawn in when I saw the soft furry big cats romping with this man who seemed unaffected by their size or behavior. There was a African man who appeared to be afraid but stayed. Then the animals seemed to fight and attack one another. See, I did not start the movie from the beginning...I just woke up and saw this large grouping of animals and nature and dust flying all around on the film. CG or FX. This is real?!! Then I remembered that I had read a description of something like this. But I could not remember the name. Then I checked and I said to myself..."Is this that Crazy movie that I read about." I googled it and I was right! So I called my son who was on the way home and I noticed the action was increasing in this wild ride of a movie. I am an animal lover and I love Big Cats and Hyenas, Sharks etc. I rescued dogs and cats since a small child. So this movie brought out my inner love for these animals. However, I found the roughness of the animals to be over the top. I later found out that Melanie Griffith had such a serious eye injury and other casts members barely survived 200 stitches or gangrene. I am just not clear on the point of making a movie that endangered the lives of the cast. Why did the cinema tographer allow himself to be drawn into to such a dangerous work place? But the purpose was clear. Melanie Griffith lived with these animals along with her parents. So I guess it was the NATURAL PROGRESSION? to make such a movie. Anyway the movie was great after so many nail biting moments I highly recommend this to be viewed. I could not stop watching until the very end. Wow! Great stuff...scary and DONT TRY THIS AT HOME! But watch this movie with great deal of fear but love. I loved seeing the BigCats ...but the danger that the cast survived seemed terrible to me. Great flick though.Take care! Lisa Joy :0
