First of I'd like to thank TCM for presenting good'ol American movies where we can see the respect, culture and moral values towards eachother. I believe the influence of movies on the society is huge, now a days especially ....I truly truly enjoyed it with my family.

I saw this movie for the first time last week and thoroughly enjoyed it! I was so disappointed to find out it was not available on home video. The premise is charming and the acting is brilliant!... I hope that more people vote to have this gem of a movie released so that more people can enjoy it. I true classic, totally loved it...

This movie parlayed sexual tension at its best, with Greer Garson displaying innocent sensuality towards the boyishly charming and handsome Robert Taylor. Their playful romantic antics brought back memories of butterflies in the tummy and toes curling when being kissed. Had this movie been made today, they would have met, locked eyes and lips and ended dinner in his apartment with no plot left to sustain the movie or their relationship. Thank heavens for the early days of Hollywood and their concept of romantic comedies with such alluring stars. Only they could know how to leave so much to our imagination while subconsciously titillating our five senses. Hooray for Hollywood. Movies like this need to be released so they can be fully enjoyed by a wider audience, especially those who have yet to discover this era of romance.

  • Nice Guy Finishes LAST!

This movie would have been more enjoyable, had the main premise not been that one guy steals his best friend's fiance and then marries her (Jeff & Linda). How many guys would have really continued a friendship with both people after having been duped and dumped? Nice guys finish last - well, that seems to be true here. Billie Burke's high strung character is fun to watch. I love the fancy staircase and architecture in Mr & Mrs Bronson's home! Too bad that Jeff and Linda were not the "original" couple who simply "got lost" along the way and needed a bit of help resurrecting their marriage.

  • Delightful! :)

Robert Taylor, Greer Garson, comedy...Need I say more? What could be more fun and enjoyable. Please show this movie on TCM and definitely release it on DVD. It really is a must see as are all Robert Taylor movies.
