I saw this movie as a kid and have been looking for this movie ever since. At one point I thought it was a figment to my imagination because I never seen the movie since. I wish TCM would play it more... I love this movie! I'm 37 saw the movie one time as a kid and fall in love with it. So happy I just found the title of the movie...no one knew what I was talking about.

The MOD DVD is an excellent widescreen letterbox widescreen transfer and there is some grain.

One weekend TCM ran a Clifton Webb movie marathon. It was wonderful. That is when I was introduced to the movie, "The Remarkable Mr. Pennypacker". As soon as the movie ended, I wanted to watch it again. To think the movie industry could get away with releasing a movie focused on a life of polygemy in 1959 is incredible. TCM needs to release this movie in DVD format for purchase.

great movie! saw it on tv when i was a young woman about 30 years ago, but i can still remember many memorable Clifton Webb lines such as "boy, you don't belong in this city"! i do hope you bring this movie back. it is as great a movie as 'cheaper by the dozen' and mr webb is brilliant in it.

I put it up there along with Clifton Webb's Cheaper by the Dozen. Both great period films, and most entertaining.
