    Excellent horror/mystery film which has gained a sort of cult status over the years. Members of a chamber group are murdered one by one; a little doll with the face of each victim is left next to the corpse. Inspector Holloway discovers that the victims were all part of a military tribunal who convicted an innocent man 20 years previously. Plenty of suspense, good direction by Freddie Francis, and fine performances by Patrick Wymark, Margaret Johnston, Alexander Knox, and John Standing. Known in Germany as "Der Puppen-Morder" (The Doll Murders).
