I have not seen this movie since I was about 10 years old. I loved it and think about it once in a while. Seeing it would bring back some great memories`of my four sisters and I watching the after school movie in the 60's in Iowa.`````````````````````````````````````

1951 was a special year for me growing up in Warwickshire, England. Saw the movie in Birmingham as a young impressionable teenager-everyone was imitating the Tony Curtis hairstlyle and the Billy Eckstine spread cutaway shirt collars. The movie was very popular as were its 2 stars -Tony & Piper Laurie. Great if it could be released by Universal on DVD; the previous sand and sandals series from the mid 40s starring Maria Montez and Jon Hall should also be released, especially "White Savage" which was shown on Icelandic TV but not available in the country it was made in- the U.S.A!!!!!! There were others in that series such as "Sudan" that is not available although Odeonent in the U.K. has released "Cobra Woman" in an excellent Region 2 disc. They also have "Siren Of Atlantis" with Montez in an excellent copy black and white released in the late 40s-also unavailable here in the U.S!!!!! So let's get with it and reminisce-y'all won't be sorry! John F. Rouse.
