Like all of Keaton's sound films it's not as good as the silents if for no other reason than because Keaton's voice is so sour and joyless that it throws a wet blanket over the entire proceedings. But speaking of wet...there is at least one great slapstick bit in this film and that of course is the slip slide check in scene at the hotel. For that and for the pre Hays Office bedroom romps in the last third let's give this one a C plus.

If MGM had been smart, they would've paired Charlotte and Buster instead of Buster and Durante!Classic physical comedians these two are.I never laughed so hard as during their "Love Scene".
