  • Hitchcock wanted to cast Laurence Olivier or Ronald Colman as Anthony Keane, Greta Garbo as Mrs. Paradine and 'Robert Newton' as Andre Latour.

    Hitchcock's rough cut of The Paradine Case ran close to 3 hours. David O. Selznick trimmed the 3 hours to 131 minutes, but for the final release, Selznick trimmed the film again from 131 minutes to 114 minutes.
