Somethings you did not know about this film!
- Bob McDowell
- 2/16/08
When this film was shot in 1970,there was no one on California TV hotter than 24 year old Broadway star Sandy Duncan. In 1969,she had done a series of TV commericals for United Bank of California. They were seen at one point every 10 sec somewhere on LA TV,5 sec in the state! After work in the play "The Boy Freind" she and husband Bruce Scott made the move to LA. The first thing that Disney had to do was to make her look like she was married to 35 year old Dean Jones! It is very clear that at this point Sandy was not a movie actress and she is all most acting is all most wooden. The film was shot in the summer of 1970 and was relesed in June of 1971. Sandy said later that she did not sit through the film untill it hit TV late in 1972.
