Now You See Him, Now You Don't was the second of three Disney Productions featuring the character "Dexter Riley," a student attending the small college of Medfield who is constantly beset by lightning-induced scientific accidents. In 1970, Disney released The Computer Wore Tennis Shoes, also starring Kurt Russell as Dexter, Joe Flynn as "Dean Eugene Higgins," Cesar Romero as shady businessman "A. J. Arno" and Michael McGreevey as Dexter's best friend "Richard Schuyler." These actors reprised their roles in the 1975 Disney production The Strongest Man in Now You See Him, Now You Don't, as well as in The Strongest Man in the World (see below).
Professional golfers William Earl "Billy" Casper and Dave Hill played themselves in Now You See Him, Now You Don't. Modern sources add John Aniston, Winnie Collins, Edward Faulkner, Jack Griffin, Kenner G. Kemp, Jack Manning, Jeffrey Sayre and Arthur Tovey to the cast.
