    Nocturne has a well written script starring George Raft as a tough city detective looking for the killer of an artist who has been declared a suicide. Raft knows, however, that it was murder.There is plenty of suspense and light moments between Raft and his mother.Suspects abound in this film noir mystery and romance with Diana Barry with whom he falls for and then later suspects. Loads of fun.
