    I enjoyed this movie, but I LOVED the movie "Hello Frisco Hello" starring Alice Faye and John Payne 3 years earlier (Also 20th Century Fox) that this was a VERY close remake.

    I've never been one for musicals, but I was very impressed. Peggy Ann Garner's performance was super! She really was a star. And, seeing the softer of George Raft in this movie made it a keeper. Nice job all around.
