    I grew up in the 1950-1960's in Manhattan Beach, CA. Some of the locations look a lot like early Palos Verdes/Rolling Hills Estates. I can't find any filming locations information. Any help? Merry Christmas to all!!!

    This is one of my favorite Bob Hope movies! It is just serious enough to be fun without being too silly. I recorded this movie on VHS and then went to sleep by it for over a year. I got to where I could recite the entire first few minutes of the movie and was usually awakened by the fire engine at the end... Some classic lines too like: "I don't know anyone in Washington.... I voted Republican." "And don't forget it's the taxpayers that pay your salary... I may be one someday."
