"THE WORLD PREMIER" of this film was in Bellaire, Ohio at the hill-top estate of local dentist, Dr. Kuchinka, D.D.S. after the Paramount Studios had a 'writing contest' on why the premier should be in [insert name of writer's home town]!
Novelist & local celebrity Francis Wallace, who did football novels about University of Notre Dame, was the primary 'ghost writer' of this 'winning letter' in the contest!
BOB HOPE & many celebrities in cast arrived by airplane at Wheeling, WVa then began a celebratory parade & caravan to Bellaire, Ohio's Main Street - then 'rally' at local high school football stadium in order to accommodate the huge crowds which had lined Main Street for parade.
Film cast was introduced - with his great re-known & customary flair - by Bob Hope, before proceeding to the Kuchinka estate for the 'world premier'!
