The working titles of this film were Who's Crazy Now? and Who's Wacky Now? While the film's credits and contemporary reviews list Milton Carruth as the film's editor, Universal publicity materials credit Mike Luciano in that position. According to Hollywood Reporter, actor Hugh Herbert signed a five-year contract with Universal during the production of this film. Hollywood Reporter production charts list Henry Martin and David Tihmar in the cast, but their appearance in the final film has not been confirmed. A Hollywood Reporter news item points out that Bob Crawford, a stand-in for Broderick Crawford in previous films, was to make his acting debut in this film. His appearance in the final film has not been confirmed, however.
