  • Ridiculous movie that I love.

OK, this is one of those it's so bad, it's good movies. Loved it as a kid and still enjoyed it when I finally saw it again as an adult a few years ago. How I wish TCM would broadcast it. It's not available on DVD. I give this film 4 stars - not the same 4 stars I would give say, CASABLANCA or ON THE WATERFRONT or THE EXORCIST. I give it 4 stars for being true to the kind of genre movie it is. It never tries to be more than what it sets out to be (and this apparantly bothered some critics) but it certainly accomplishes its goal - to be a B horror movie with all the B horror movie bells and whistles (fog, old castle, family curse, etc). Expect very little when you watch THE MAZE and you'll really enjoy it.

Great 50s horror movie. Haven't seen it in a long time. I think it's based on an old legent about the Monster of Glamis Castle.

  • great movie for the genre.

I first saw this movie in 3D when it was released in 1953. I was 9 yrs old. I remember how much that movie scared me to this day. I would love to see it released on dvd so I could view it again. I am always telling my husband about it and he wants to see it too.

  • This was my first suspense film

As a kid in the 50's and 60's I loved this movie. I don't know if it was because it my first suspense film or if it just was that good. I wish this I could see this movie again.
