    I have always enjoyed the old Errol Flynn movies. He was so handsome and wore those period costumes with such panache. Balantrae, I see, was filmed in 1953, which must be one of his last, if not the last, films. The movie staggers along, and Flynn is looking shopworn.

    I recently purchased this dvd. I have not seen this film in over 10 yrs,but being an Errol Flynn fan it wasnt his best. He was past his prime . IT was a rather enjoyable film. In any case Errol Flynn will always be my favorite actor!!! My overral rating is 3.5 stars.
