  • Fun Movie For Former Jarheads

    When I graduated from Parris Island in 1962 and was stationed in Millington, TN for school, this movie played in downtown Memphis and a bunch of us went to see it one weekend. If you're a former Marine, you'll enjoy the antics of these guys on liberty plus the hardships and friendships they share in combat. Tom Reese does a perfect job as the seasoned combat Marine. And why not, he was a former Marine himself and knew how to properly dress, wear his cover and act. I remembered this film from nearly 50 years ago and would love to have a copy for my collection.
