    Many people are unaware that Rita Hayworth's father was from Spain, and she was trained from an early age as a dancer by her father, Eduardo Cansino. She danced in the family act called "The Dancing Cansinos," and her skill and expertise in flamenco dancing is beautifully displayed in this movie. As Carmen, "Margarita," her original name, dances the authentic flamenco rhythms, not the Hollywood version of Spanish dancing so often seen in movies. Any flamenco fan should not miss this one.
