An exciting and enthralling quick-paced action thriller. Parillaud gives a solid performance as a juvenile delinquent who is trained to become an effective assassin. The film shines in the gentle scenes that Nikita has with the men in her life and contrasting it to the high-octane, sometimes implausible action scenes. To action buffs and "buffette's," this is your film. I give it 4/5.

  • COMPARING U.S. TO FOREIGN

Every American movie trying to cash in on the success of a foreign movie flops. This movie is very good. It's pace is related to the subject of the movie. American version doesn't compare. It's best to understand that the foreigners find a story line that cannot be beat. Americans muuch it and game over. Thank you T.C.M. for showing this movie. Jumping into the dumbwaiter is just a thought an American would entertain. Great Movie. Much better than American version. American good old boy system got into the way. America is in a perpetual recession because of gool old boy thinking. Time to show the good old boys the door and move on. France showed us how to do it. What a contradiction. Obama was the change and his presence is this there as a reminder of following the wrong leader for too long. Chow.
