  As always, James Cagney delivers a terrific performance, it's a good story, decent direction but it's rather ordinary. The supporting cast is good. Not as memorable as most of Cagney's films.

• What a Great Cagney Performance

  This movie needs to be shown . It is little seen and was James Cagney's first film when he left Warner Brothers and started his own film company. He was trying to break away from the Gangster persona. It is a wonderful little charmer with a wonderful cast of supporting actors. The main reason of course to see this is based on James cagneys wonderful charming performnce. BRILLIANT is the only way to describe his performance.

  I cannot believe that this movie is not shown, this is one of Cagneys best. I loved the acting and the story line in this movie, I also feel is should be on DVD. Please TCM, Please show this movie on your program I would love to see it again I havent seen it in years.
