OVERVIEW

powered by AFI

Brief Synopsis

A crew of young researchers travels into the future to avoid the shutdown of their project. They find that some unspecified disaster has de-populated the area around their campsite (rural Idaho) and, by implication, the nation or maybe the world. They encounter an abandoned freight train full of corpses (maybe, it isn't very clear). Some of them travel further into the future and meet a family in a futuristic automobile and are relieved to learn that humankind has recovered from the disaster (or have they?)
