Sound recorder Hans Weeren's name is spelled Waren in the onscreen credits. Contemporary sources indicate that Normandy Pictures Corp. May have been connected to Colony, and that it May have been involved in the production of this film. Although the exact contemporary release date has not been located, according to the MPAA/PCA Collection at the AMPAS Library, the film was granted a PCA certificate on July 1, 1936. According to modern sources, Paul Malvern was the picture's producer. Modern sources also note the release date as August 6, 1936 and list the following additional cast members: George Morrell (Storekeeper), Sherry Tansey (Henchman), Jimmy Aubrey and Dick Botiller (Gunmen), Herman Hack, Ed Cassidy, Jack Evans, Bill McCall and Buck Morgan.
