I saw this movie when I was 8 years old living in Flint Michigan. It enters my mind at least once or twice a year. It left me in so much turmoil. I would love to see it now that I am older.

I saw this movie in Los Angeles,California when it was first release. I saw it at our local theater. I have never forgotten this movie nor the inpact it made on me as a very young girl who thought colors were of things such as crayons and flowers. This was the first I was made aware that people came in colors too, and that in this part of the world color means everything.

For some reason, I had a memory of her husband coming home, finding her gone, and then acting like he was going to find her no matter what, walking out the door and left for us to assume he probably would find her. Was I dreaming?

I just bought a DVD of this film from ioffer.com. Haven't gotten it yet. Hope it's in better shape that the print the prior poster received. I saw this movie back in 1965 on TV when I was 12 and it's always stuck in my mind. I've been trying to track this down on either VHS or DVD for years.

GOOD 1960 MOVIE. SONYA WILDE IS JUST SO SWEET. THE 20O7 DVD I BOUGHT CAME IN WIDESCREEN. BUT THE PRINT IS JUST AWFUL. IT APPEARS THERE WAS NO CLEAN UP EFFORT FOR THIS RELEASE. STILL,I'M THANKFUL THEY PUT IT OUT TO BE SEEN AGAIN AFTER 47 YEARS. TCM PLEASE SHOW IT WHEN YOU CAN.
