The opening credits read "Paramount Pictures presents Zane Grey's Heritage of the Desert." Although Screen Achievements Bulletin and onscreen credits Harrison Jacobs as additional dialoguer, modern sources credit him, along with Norman Houston, with screenplay. Modern sources also add Frankie Marvin to the cast. In 1932, Paramount filmed another version of the Zane Grey novel, also titled Heritage of the Desert (see entry above.)
