NOTES

powered by AFI

The film's exteriors were shot at a steam plant in the San Fernando Valley, just outside Los Angeles, according to an April 1958 Los Angeles Times item. As noted favorably in reviews, the opening ten minutes of the film are presented without dialogue. Producer, writer and director Jack L. Copeland got the idea for the film while making an industrial documentary. This was the only feature film that Copeland made.
