The pressbook notes that cast member Florence Lawrence, the Vitagraph Girl in early silent films, has a minor part in the film. Rosa Gore was half of the Crimmons and Gore vaudeville team that was famous around the turn of the century. Clara Hunt, who plays an American Indian in the movie was a full-blooded Chipeway Indian. The opening scenes of the movie were shot at the famous Vasquez Rocks in the Angeles National Forest. The film was re-made as Trailin' Trouble, by Grand National in 1937, which was also produced by M. H. Hoffman, Jr. (see below).
