i feel like a bastard for saying this.
what maybe should have been the last great story bob hope ever did but was not. really liked the idea of the movie. it was executed wrong and the script needed to be better.
TCM is running Bob Hope movies today, perfect for a rainy, Fall day!I enjoyed this movie, but it left me wondering who the baby, Nonny, was in real life. She's listed only as "Baby Monroe".The reason for my curiosity is that the baby never once smiled or laughed & wore the same stunned expression for the entire film. Makes me wonder how she turned out as an adult, as I can't help but think she was traumatized, or terrorized by acting in this film.
A must see
- Clover Prusok
One of Bob Hopes best performances. Showing a light hearted depth of caring rarely seen from a male character. You walk away from the film knowing he would be the best parent.
