Loved Every Moment
Fanastic movie, great acting, the best music ever. Born in 1940, mother in show business, grew up with this music - the movie brings joy and tears every time I watch it;
- John Lawton
James Stewart nails it as Glenn Miller, the look, mannerisms and the drive to bring his own unique 'sound" into the Big Band era. The movie captures the mood and feeling of World War 2. especially the scene of the V-1 bombs buzzing overhead at the hospital in England and his determination to continue his concert .
1 amazing movie
this is truely one of the best movies made. I've seen it many times and when it comes on I get choked up. ALL of the actors and actresses did such an outstanding job.

unforgetabble Glenn, James and Mrs. Allison, I was born in 1941. Kind Regards.
My Most Favorite Movie All Time
- Bob Silvers
I saw this movie in 1954 at the Fairborn (Ohio) theatre. I immediately became a lifelong fan of Glenn Miller and his music. Over the years, I have seen reruns whenever I knew about them, and I purchased the video, keeping it in a safe place and viewing it often. We watched the show this week on TCM. We never get tired of it. I can only say that they just don't seem to make movies like that anymore. It's wonderful and heartwarming, and even though sad at the end, it's worth watching often.
