Eu adoro este filme. O elenco é excelente. E Natalie Wood aparece com todo o seu frescor da juventude. Eu adoraria ver este filme no TCM. O filme apesar de pouco conhecido é um dos melhores dos anos 50.

Looks like a very typical love story involving a soldier. Can't wait to see the movie in December. My uncle just told me he was in this movie. He was a soldier and stationed at the base where this was filmed in California. Please let me know, when i can get this on DVD. It would mean a lot to him.

I was seventeen years old, when this movie was filmed at Ft.Ord,California. My Dad was stationed at Ord. We lived on post. I followed the movie crew around the post. David Jansen, who was one of the Co-Stars of the movie, himself was a soldier stationed Ft.Ord.He was in charge of the Central service club. Another actor Martin Milner used to MC the talent shows at the club with David Jansen, for the new arriving soldiers.

When this film was made in 1956, I had just arrived in Fort Ord, California for basic training. All of us were amazed to see the trucks from Warner Brothers on the base. To add to this,we were used throughout the movie as extras. During our basic training, Tab Hunter used the same facilities we did and during our graduation from "K" company, the ceremony was included in the final print. Imagine our pride a few months later when we were in Germany to go to the movies and watch the film. Now if I can just find a copy!
