The Ghost Breakers (1940)
- Jay Higgins
- 10/11/09
This is one of Bob Hope's funniest and best movies. His comic timing has rarely been better. Paulette Goddard is terrific and Willie Best steals every scene he's in. It is always entertaining and a must for anyone who appreciates Bob Hope's special brand of humor.

I love old movies and this one would have to be one of my favorites. Bob Hope was simply hilarious! I loved the scene of Hope's assistant checking to make sure the zombie was still in the closet.

This movie is a non-stop, never a boring moment romp with a young Bob Hope. I am a long time fan and I think this is his best work. The supporting cast is top notch too! Don't miss the scene with the travel brochure about Havana Cuba, absolutely hilarious! Comedy, romance and suspense are all here for your enjoyment. I watch it at least two times a year and never get tired of it!
