• Cooper, Hayward, Widmark

  20th Century Fox assembled a trio of great Professional's in Gary Cooper, Richard Widmark and that great Tough Lady Susan Hawyard in Henry Hathaway's great western Garden Of Evil. I recommend this film and to see three film professionals who rarely if ever gave anything but superb performances the peerless Gary Cooper, and the under appreciated Richard Widmark but most of all Ms. Hayward a favorite actress of mine.

  Adventure western with a wonderful cast headed by laconic and leathery Gary Cooper, lovely Susan Hayward, and stand out Richard Widmark as the unlikely hero in this entertaining western parable set in the rugged mountains of Mexico. Good movie entertainment and a must see for fans of Cooper, Hayward and Widmark. Look for sexy Rita Moreno bringing down the Cantina early in the film.

• Garden of Evil

  One of my all time favorite movies! An off-beat western. I have three westerns that I have loved since the fifties: Garden of Evil, The Bravados, & One-Eyed Jacks. The musical score for Garden of Evil stands as one of the greatest of all time. Bernard Herrmann rocked this one!
