Because you shouldn't pay to see it. Mild froth indeed. Bob Cummings' character is so dumb, naive, milque-toasty that I felt like wringing his neck. Best part about this film was the interior of Percy Kilbride's Georgetown house...all those prints, Priscilla curtains, roller blinds, antiques, and the train travelling around the dining table.

I have been searching and searching for this movie on VCR or DVD (preferred), but cannot find it. I hope TCM will be able to make this movie available for sale, at best, or play it on TCM network. I have heard this movie is really a funny movie.
When will this movie be presented on TCM

It was Feb 1950, I was at a stopover at Kwajalein Island Naval Air Stn flying with MATS this movie was playing that evening. I was attending the movie when a call came in for the flight crew to immediatley report to the flight deck. I missed about half of this movie. I have searched for it for viewing since 1965 but have been unable to see it in it's full length. I hope TCM will play it sometime in 2009. Bill H
