  • Still one of my Favorites In the Series!!!

I remember first seeing this on the late show when RKO's library was broadcast out of channel 9 out of NYC back in the late 70's. It was 4:30am and I had to be up for school at 6:30am to get ready for school. The movie was wonderful. I enjoyed the story of a mysterious plane, landing by itself. The story evolving around a group of suspicious characters, a suave yet hard boiled adventerer (detective) upstaging the city police force at every turn, despite his hay-seed girl friend. The film produced a great mood with its stannard RKO noir style photography and The Stannard RKO music score. This film made me tune in the next night (again at 4:30am, all week long; we didn't have VCR's yet) to what be my Top 3 mystery film 'The Falcon In Hollywood". I really enjoyed Tom Conway's portrayals of the Falcon the most even though I've grown a greater appreciation for George Sander's portrayal of the ametuer slueth in recent years.

All The Falcon movies were great. Both George Sanders and Tom Conway excelled.
