I desparately want this dvd. Derek Jacobi is the greatest and so is thie production. I hope it is released in the U.S. soon. It has been out a long time but there must be a moritorium on it here for some reason. Please TCM, bring it to us on DVD in U.S.

This 2-part production of Dickens' Little Dorrit is perfection. An absolute must.

I love this film (both parts) but haven't seen it in over ten years. Sorry it is not on DVD here in the U.S. Maybe Turner will release it soon.

  • Excellent version of the Charles Dickens novel

Excellent version of the Charles Dickens novel, with a fine performance by Derek Jacobi and also a fine late career performance by Alec Guinness. Very good supporting cast as well. This should be made available on dvd in the US market, if it isn't already (it has been released in the UK).
