  • Good job all around

A good ensemble cast, with everyone turning in solid performances in a minor but not shoddy picture. Monroe was excellent. Bancroft said Monroe's performance in the final scene brought tears to her eyes because it felt so real. TCM's description of Widmark's character as a man with anger issues is hilarious. He's a man who can't feel anything or take anyone seriously -- until the plight of Monroe's character draws him out.

  • Muito bom

Eu no vi o filme, mas me disseram que muito bom. Ver Marilyn Monroe num papel dramtico deve ser legal.

  • Widmark knocks on wrong door

Different drama with good performances from Marilyn Monroe asdisturbed baby sitter and pilot Widmark as restless guy across the hall who takes an interest. (Who would not?) As it turns out, Widmark should have stayed with adorable Anne Bancroft in a very early role before anyone knew she was one of the greatest actresses in the English language. Worth watching for thefor the wonderful cast.

Solid thriller with a very insightful performance from Marilyn Monroe, Richard Widmark does a fine job as well. It always held my interest and wasn't predictable. Well done.
