An absolutely beautiful, heartwarming film. An important and necessary film full of lessons for our children today: true friendship and loyalty, family devotion, compassion, tolerance, faith. A must see for every family today.
The Original Is The Best

I would very much like to have a copy of this original film. Please let me know if anyone knows how to obtain a copy.
They Don't Make 'Em Like That Anymore!
I absolutely love this film. I wish I could get a copy of the original, as I heard the later versions were sugary sweet. In the original, the Black & White just drives the point home of the hardships and makes them seem more real, in my opinion. This is a great story about a boy/family and a dog and how it pays not to give up on your dream.
Dog of Flanders 1935 film
I have been enraptured with this version of this beautiful story. It is heart warming and teaches children not to give up trying. I will always remember this film presentation.
A Dog of Flanders
Very good movie showing the struggles of a young boy who defies all the odds and comes out on top.
