I like wholesome classic movies very much, but this one does nothing for me. Poor production values, predictable script... could not bring myself to watch it all the way through.

A heart-warming tale, perfect for a Sunday morning.Reminiscent of "Good-Bye Mr. Chips", a delightful lady gives up her life for the betterment of her college, her students, and the loved ones in her life.Wonderful, sentimental story with fine performances by all.

A charming classic, with a fine and beautiful performance from Martha Scott. This is sort of a female version of Goodbye Mr. Chips. Very well done, a real tear jerker. Good supporting cast. Great production.
