    The actors are excellent. A good film to watch. Tense.

    Low budget, black & white, depends almost entirely on Peter Cushing's perfect, intense, almost silent performance, with great closeups of his tortured face. Cushing plays a manager in a smalltown British bank in the winter, when it seems to save his apparently kidnapped family, he must help thieves rob his bank. A small masterpiece sadly overlooked. This guy had acting chops. This film's almost a Brit understated flipside of "It's a Wonderful Life."
