Snobs vs. Slobs
- Fred Derf
- 2/27/13
None of the golfers I know can complete a round without someone quoting a line from this comedy classic. Is it stupid, childish, sophomoric and crude?...You bet. Does it convey any meaningful social or political relevance?... Not likely. I make an annual habit of watching this film every year about the same time as The Master's. It helps to remind me that golf is a game, and is supposed to be fun. Bill Murray's performance as 'Carl' is his signature role.

Golfers Delight

A great movie for golfers. Touches on many seldom spoken truths about the thoughts and exchanges on the golf course. Fun and stupid all at once. How about a little something for the effort?

Caddyshack (1980)
- James Higgins

Most of the jokes and gags are just stupid, but there are some good ones.. Rodney Dangerfield however was very funny. The movie is alright, but it escapes me why it is so highly regarded.
