This movie is based on the novel "Blood Brothers' which was recommended by Professor Paul Hutton , Distinguished Professor of History at The University of New Mexico, in the July 2009 edition of True West magazine as one of his 5 most important books on the American West. Blood Brothers was a terrific pleasure to read and I can't wait to see Broken Arrow on TCM.

Not just a incredible true story depicting two men comming together under extream times and events, but a incredible love story as well. I'm 56 now and still search for listings on TV. Many of James Stewarts movies that don't even come close are on DVD and this one isn't. It's odd to me that it's available in europe and not the USA. I would watch this movie at least 5 times a year if I could. In fact I'd buy 5 coppies if I could
