    Long, boring, and drab.

I loved this movie. It has the best stars. Peck is super scary, but very good in his part. This movie defiantly makes you think, and will make you shiver!

The far fetched and severe plot is overcome by a trio of great stars - Laurence Olivier, Gregory Peck and James Mason. interesting, surprisingly dated, more powerful in 1978. A bit too long, good production values.

  • A great movie!!!

I loved this movie because of the players and it's content. The scene with the attacking dogs was so realistic.I intend to buy the movie soon.

  • Excellent Spy Thriller

This film is definitely worth a watch as it compares with others of this genre- Day of the Jackal, Odessa File, Marathon Man. Remnants of WWII espionage and shady political motivation underscore all these films. I especially enjoy Boys from Brazil to see All American Great Guy Gregory Peck play as evil a role as one could imagine, shy of the Devil himself. Other good guys have done this well also- Lawrence Olivier in Marathon Man and Henry Fonda in Once Upon a Time in the West. Even if the plot here is a tad fantastic, excellent work by James Mason and good guy Olivier make this a must see for foreign intrigue and thrills. Of course, no one could turn on a dime from Good to Not So Good as James Cagney, depending on how the world was treating him and his scruples at any given moment, but Peck and these guys will still give you nightmares.
