Really love this movie - good acting from Stanwyck, Cooper, Quinn, Roman.I love also the music - Frankie Laine is great.Good story and enough actions. The soundtrack is great.

Very good melodrama. Considering this is a 1950's film the passion fairly drips with all the significant looks and innuendos.

I agree with Mr. Waterton's comments. This is a great action and drama flick. Cooper reprises his High Noon marshal's role of the honest guy trying to do right while dealing with the triangle situation of the good woman and the bad. Stanwyck is at her best as being glamorous and despicable. If you like High Noon you'll enjoy this one.I saw this film for the first time years ago on KTTV Channel 11, a local independent (now Fox TV) covering L.A., running "movies 'til dawn" after their late news. In 1990 I bought it on VHS, marketed by Republic Pictures Home Video.

  • THIS WAS A CLASSIC MOVIE FOR BOTH COOPER AND QUINN
