  • AN ITALIAN GENE KELLY!? WORKS FOR ME!!!

This is a somewhat soft mafia movie in which GENE played very well, as he always did. I like the Italian character role, and the curly hair that GENE sported, although those Irish traits of his couldn't be easily mistaken. I love the bit of Italian that GENE spoke in this movie~~very sexy, as was his fluent French when spoken in his other movies. I had never seen J. Carroll Nash before, but he was a great supporting actor in this movie. Although GENE isn't dazzling one with his amazing song and dance in this movie, his tough guy(as was his true character) image is what really made this movie work. Were GENE not in this picture, one may or may not watch it. But of course the handsome, sexy, sensual, loveable GENE KELLY made all the difference. It's worth watcing if you want to see GENE in a suspenseful way. Watch it!

Please show "Pay or Die" starring Earnest Borgnine. Truly an excellent movie that is never shown.
