Hedwiga Reicher was Frank Reicher's sister, and Russell Gleason was James Gleason's son. According to modern sources, director Edward H. Griffith was brought in to shoot retakes. Modern sources also note that scenes featuring Helen Twelvetrees and June Collyer were edited out of the final film.
