    I've never seen this movie before and if it wasn't for TCM, I'm sure I never would have seen it. This movie reminded me of some of the independent films of the 70's and 80's, only I liked it better. On the schedule, it was followed by "All the Marbles", which was a more Hollywood treatment of the subject. "Below the Belt" was much more engaging. People who only like new movies shouldn't bother, but to me this movie told a good story and delivered in the fight sequences. It also had a little something to say about life. Achievement, no matter how limited it may seem, is tough.
